Japan Social Innovation and Investment Foundation and Ueda Chamber of Commerce and Industry enter into comprehensive partnership agreement aiming to promote “empowerment and career development of diverse talent”

Japan Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (Chair of Executive Committee: Shuichi Ohno; Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter “SIIF”) and Nagano Prefecture / Ueda Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chair: Kenichi Horiuchi; Location: Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture) have entered into a comprehensive partnership agreement (hereinafter “the Agreement”) with the aim of promoting the sustainable development of the regional economy and addressing social issues in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture.

The Agreement places particular emphasis on correcting gender disparities in employment opportunities and wages, and aims to enhance the productivity of local businesses while promoting diverse work styles.
