Publication of Japan’s first ‘Social Impact Assessment Report’ on the dormant deposit system. Press releases
In accordance with the Law on the Utilisation of Dormant Deposits, etc., Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (President: Shuichi Ohno, hereinafter referred to as SIIF) has been selected as a “fund distributing organisation” in the system to utilise deposits that have not been transacted for more than 10 years for solving social issues and promoting private public interest activities (hereinafter referred to as the dormant deposit system) in consecutive fiscal years 2019 and 2020. The impact report “SIIF Dormant Deposit Project Impact Report” (hereinafter referred to as “SIIF Impact Report”) is a compilation of the interim evaluation of the six organizations implementing the “Social Business Growth Support Project for Community Revitalization” in FY 2019 and the preliminary evaluation of the four organizations implementing the “Project to Solve Local Issues through Collective Impact” in FY 2020. Impact Report” (hereafter referred to as the Impact Report), which summarises the interim evaluation of the six organisations implementing the project and the preliminary evaluation of the four organisations involved in the FY2020 ‘Collective Impact to solve local issues’ project.
