The social impact bond (SIB) project of the Hachioji City (Mayor: Takashi Ishimori) for colorectal cancer screening and precision examination uptake rate improvement, which started in May 2017, was completed in August 2019. Following the completion of the project, Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (Chair of Executive Committee: Shuichi Ohno; Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter SIIF) was involved in supporting the preparation of a summary report jointly compiled by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and K3 Inc.
