Japan Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (SIIF) begins receiving applications from potential partners for providing fundamental solutions to social issues and systems change in terms of opportunity disparity and regional vitalization. SIIF will fund JPY 60mil (capital injection, subcontracting, grant, etc.) up to 6 organizations and support their management including IMM. Japan Social Innovation and Investment Foundation (Chair of Executive Committee: Shuichi Ohno; Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo, hereinafter “SIIF”), which has been practicing, researching and promoting impact investing since 2017, started analyzing social issue structure and setting the hypothesis of systemic change by applying the concept of “systems change” and finally published vision papers on “regional vitalization,” “opportunity disparity” and “healthcare” on July 7, 2023. SIIF has set “regional vitalization” and “opportunity disparity” as “Systems Change Collective project” (hereinafter “SCC project) and started receiving applications from potential partners for providing fundamental solutions and systemic change to social issues illustrated in the vision papers.
